Job Duties

1.       Manage the operations of the housekeeping department
2.       Plan and co-ordinate the activities of housekeeping supervisors and their crews
3.       Conduct inspections to ensure that departmental standards and health and safety regulations are being met
4.       Select and purchase equipment and supplies, and maintain inventory
5.       Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment and machinery
6.       Hire, train and supervise housekeeping staff
7.       Maintain financial records and prepare budgets, payroll and employee schedules.

Education Requirement

1.       Completion of secondary school is usually required.
